Looking For Opportunities To Put Love Into Action?
Look no further. We'll be adding links here to help you investigate opportunities for service - locally, nationally and internationally.

Remember, the Cursillo movement advocates that we "bloom where we are planted" - bringing Christ's love to those people and places that are already a part of our everyday lives. It's not necessarily about doing more things, but rather about bringing more love to the things we do.

That being said, Cursillistas and Group Reunions bring a lot of love to a lot of people in a lot of different ways. We hope this page will be a resource for you if you are looking for ways to put your "love in action."

Please keep in mind that this page is a work in progress, and is very incomplete! If you have suggestions about links we could include on this page, please send us an email and let us know. We can't include everything, but we'll do our best.

  • IMPACT (Interfaith Movement Promoting Action by Congregations Together)
"A grassroots initiative with a mission to bring a greater degree of justice and fairness to the Charlottesville and Albemarle area." You can help identify and weigh in on issues of concern, and participate in very specific questioning of local politicians on issues of peace and justice that directly affect the local community.

  • Operation Rice Bowl
The little cardboard rice bowls that started in the '70s and have helped many of us live in greater solidarity with many of our sisters and brothers around the world who live in poverty. There's a link on this page to sign up for an emailed weekly Lenten reflection.
